A mountain of debt and a failed relationship force Song Geun to take his own life by jumping off a bridge into the Han River. He miraculously survives and washes up onto a deserted island in the middle of the river and decides to forge a new life for himself away from the society he so desperately tried to escape. Overlooking the island and unbeknownst to Song Geun lives a woman who hasn't left her room in three years. She becomes fascinated by Song Geun's life on the island through her camera lens and they eventually begin to communicate with one another via messages in bottles. The two social castaways strike up an unusual friendship, but will their alienated living arrangements keep them apart? CASTAWAY ON THE MOON, which is director Lee Hae Joon's feature film debut, brilliantly captures the nuances and nature of fate. - Bryant Murakami

Though at first impression, this movie may seem to have a stupid premise. However, as the story carries forward, it becomes engaging and you cannot, but help to root for our two protagonist to achieve their "dreams". The "Delivery Boy" just stole the show away with his 5 minute screen time.
